Important information about online orders:

If a book is in stock we will reserve it (for you to collect here), or post it straight away (depending which option you select). If we need to order it, it can take up to four weeks to arrive in our shop. If you need it urgently, please phone us instead and we will tell you whether it is available.

If we are posting books within Australia, standard Australia Post rates apply; we use prepaid Australia Post satchels (standard, or express), and the price is dependent on the size and weight of the book(s). Most books fit into one of the two standard bags, which are currently $6.00 (up to 500g) and $10.30 (up to 3kg); express rates $8.40 and $11.70. For larger/heavier books, we will still charge standard Australia Post rates. Overseas rates vary. (If you are ordering a book from overseas and need to know the postage rate before proceeding with the order, please inform us in the 'any extra details' section.) We pack books carefully, and wrap them in card or bubble-wrap to protect them in the mail. We reuse packing materials where possible.

Please fill out this form carefully, and be sure that you know the details of the book you want to order. Special orders cannot be returned unless faulty; by ordering a book you are agreeing to purchase it, and we will not be held responsible for incorrect books if they match the request you sent us. So, the more details you give us, the more likely it is that we will order the right book for you!

If we are unable to order a book for you, we will notify you. Otherwise, we will simply proceed with the order, and either notify you or post it when it arrives (depending on which option you select).

If you want a particular edition of a book, you must let us know, otherwise we will order the most easily available, most affordable, and/or most recent edition.

If you know that the book is old or rare, please include this detail in the order form - it will help us if we are looking for obscure books.

Please note that if your book is unusual, independently published, or coming from a small distributor, they may charge a small order fee (usually up to $20). Please let us know if you are not willing to pay this fee.
